Well, let me start off by saying that this is my first time teaching children and according to my experience, teaching children is not all that bad unless they do not pay attention to you.
Well, yesterday, I went to Canossaville Childrens Home to tutor the children.As usual, I got a primary four girl name Xiao Xuan.(I hope I did not spell her name wrongly) I personally feel that the girl that I'm teaching does not need any teaching but alas, it is for CIP hours. But I feel that I have already created a bond between ourselves and I'm really proud of myself.
Well,what happened on that day was both memorable and hilarious. I was teaching Xiao Xuan about classification of animals whe she aked me, " Are bird warm-blooded?"
That got me thinking for a while. Are birds cold-blooded? And I told," No,birds are cold-blooded."
Then today during science, Mrs Toh my Science teacher recapped with us about classification and is just so happened that bird are warm-blooded! I couldn't believe my ears.I thought Xiao Xuan the wrong thing! What bad luck. Me and Kavitha were laughing over the whole thing the whole day.
Kavitha asked me, " What was your reason that made you say that birds are cold-blooded?"
I told her that is was because I saw once on the net a diagram of a bird with only blue line so...I guess that my brain just think in different ways.Well that all I have to say for today.
